More than Totes was never just about renting storage totes.

It’s about showing my boys what’s possible.

It started during a career sabbatical, a season of searching for my next calling. My husband and I always dreamed of building something with our sons, and in that pause I realized the best lessons would come from experience, not explanation.

 

More than an idea. Ideas are everywhere. I want my boys to see how to turn an idea into a real business: the questions, the research, the trial and error, and the tenacity to keep going when it would be easier to stop.

More than talent. Everyone has gifts. I believe those gifts are meant to be stewarded, put to work, and used with purpose. Matthew 25:14–30 

More than transactions. Nothing is built alone. This business grew through family, mentor, friend, business leader, and customer interaction. Every one of those relationships is built on connection and trust.

More than profit. A business exists to serve others. Every storage tote rented is a chance to take stress out of a big life moment and offer a sustainable alternative to cardboard boxes.

That’s my why. I found an idea, used my gifts, leaned on the people around me, and led with a heart to serve. Now my boys have a first-hand look at what is possible.
